RR 250 & RR 900 Rock Pickers

 

These rugged, durable rock pickers were the first in the industry to be both a hydraulically-driven rotary rock picker and a fork type picker in one machine.  

The RR 250 can pick rocks from 2 1/2" to 24" in diameter by using a unique two-bat reel with shock protected rake cylinders.  The RR 900 handles rocks up to 32" in diameter, using a three-bat reel with shock protected rake cylinders.

Features

  • Hydraulic drive allows the reel to jam without causing damage to the machine.  The jam clears by simply reversing the reel.

  • Hard-surfaced teeth

  • The reel spring, standard on both models, protects the rake cylinder and ensures durability and low maintenance.

  • The electric solenoid gives you the ability to back up and dump with a flick of the switch from your tractor.

  • The reversible variably-controlled reel speed system allows you to set the speed of the reel to match your picking needs.

  • Bucket has an open grate floor and rock deflector for maximum capacity.

  • Hose/harness holder on hitch

RR 250 Features

  • Two-bat shock protected reel system can remove rocks 2" to 24" in diameter.

  • Bucket dump uses a bearing style hinge.  Has a dumping height of 24".

  • Standard single axle and 11 L x 15 tires.

  • Optional hydraulically-controlled hitch has a full 90o range -- allowing the picker to be towed right behind the tractor during transport, or offset to the side at the angle of your choice while in the field.

RR 900 Features

  • Three-bat shock protected reel system can remove rocks 2" x 32" in diameter.

  • Large cast pillow block is used to handle the load of the large bucket capacity.  Has a dumping height of 60".

  • Standard single axle and large 16.5 x 16.1 flotation tires for reduced compaction and increased maneuverability.

  • Choose between standard semi high-dump of 60" and high-dump of 96".
